2011 Color of the Year - Honeysuckle!

When Pantone speaks, my little ears perk up! I couldn't wait to hear about the 2011 color of the year, and now that I've had a few days to think about it, I think I'm in love. Honeysuckle is such a sweet color, without being saccharin or childlike. I can see it easily as a wedding color combined with metallic gold or silver or as inspiration for a birthday party with tons of pep and vigor.

Below is the first invitation I have designed using this new color.  It's featured on one of my new die cut invitations. 

Inspired by Pantone.com’s 2011 Spring Fashion color report,  I have put together hues that will be hot this spring. A soft hint of pink and pretty lavender will create an elegant look, while vibrant papaya orange and berry pink make a bold contemporary statement.
