Is Black the New White? Vera Wang's Black Bridal Gown Collection

Vera Wang broke all of the "wedding rules" when she unveiled her Fall 2012 Bridal Collection in New York last week. The 15-piece collection featured dramatic, goth-inspired black wedding gowns made of lace, tulle and organza. Not a single white gown graced the runway aisle. Will stylish brides embrace this trend or is it even too dark for the bitchiest bridezilla?

Yummy Cake Pops

With Halloween approaching rapidly, I decided to make ghost cake pops for a new treat. This was my first attempt at cake pops and I was surprised at how incredibly easy they were to make. AND, I had the best excuse to make them – they were for our upcoming party.

These are quick and fun to make.  Just search on cake pops and you will find all sorts of recipes.   The easiest one I found was using a plain donut ball, dip it into melted chocolate/white chips.  To decorate roll/attach candy decorations right after dipping in melted chocolate or put in fridge to harden then decorate with icing.  Have fun and get creative!
